烟台海军学堂的创立发展及其现实启示

The Establishment and Development of Yantai Naval Academy and Its Realistic Enlightenment

甲午海战之后清政府重整海军,发展海军教育成为一项重要而紧迫的任务。为了解决人才缺乏的问题,烟台海军学堂于1903年成立。该学堂经历了清朝末年、民国建立到五四运动前、五四运动以后三个发展时期,于1928年停办。它位居清末四大海校之首,是中国海军教育复兴的主要内容和重要标志,校风开放、思想进步,为中国民主革命积蓄了力量,诞生了烟台乃至胶东地区第一个党团组织。烟台海军学堂的现实启示是:增强“蓝色信念”,筑梦“海洋强国”;坚定文化自信,弘扬爱国传统;提升文旅内涵,打造文旅品牌。

After the Sino-Japanese War of 1894-1895,the Qing government reorganized the navy,and the development of naval education became an important and urgent task.In order to solve the problem of the shortage of talents,Yantai Naval Academy was established in 1903.The academy went through three development stages:the late Qing Dynasty,the period from the founding of the Republic of China to the eve of the May Fourth Movement,and the period after the May Fourth Movement,before it ceased operations in 1928.It ranked first among the four major naval academies in the late Qing Dynasty and served as a primary content and important symbol of the rejuvenation of China’s naval education,with an open school atmosphere and progressive thinking,it accumulated strength for China’s democratic revolution and gave birth to the first Party and League organization in Yantai and even the Jiaodong region.The realistic enlightenment of Yantai Naval Academy is:to strengthen“blue faith”and build a dream of“maritime power”;to strengthen cultural confidence and carry forward the patriotic tradition;to enhance the connotation of cultural tourism and build cultural tourism brand.
