Pepper (Capsicum spp.), one of the most important vegetable crops cultivated worldwide, imparts a savory depth of flavor and spiciness. Additionally, pepper fruits possess rich natural pigments, nutritional compounds, and bioactive metabolites, offering significant ornamental, industrial, and medicinal values (Kothari et al., 2010).
