Objective To evaluate the quality control circle(QCC)activity supported by smart nursing platform in optimizing the postoperative rehabilitation process of elderly patients with hip fracture. Methods Totally 50 elderly patients undergoing hip fracture surgery were divided into the observation group(n=23 and 2 cases lost to follow-up)and a control group(n=25)according to the admission sequence. The control group received routine nursing care, while the observation group received QCC activity interventions supported by a smart nursing platform. To analyze patients’compliance with rehabilitation before and after implementation of QCC activities, and to compare the Harris Hip Score(HHS)and Barthel index(BI)between two groups. Results The rate of compliance with rehabilitation behavior increased from 80.36%to 97.40%after implementation of QCC activity supported by the smart nursing platform.Scores of HHS and BI in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, with a significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion The QCC activity supported by the smart nursing platform helps improve the compliance rate of patients'postoperative rehabilitation behavior, and ensure the recovery after hip fracture surgery.
