摘要
文章以我国2016—2022年沪深两市制造业A股上市公司的年度数据,研究企业ESG表现对制造业绿色创新的影响。研究发现良好的企业ESG表现能够提升企业绿色创新质量与绿色创新数量,从而提升企业整体绿色创新水平,并且企业良好的ESG表现对其绿色创新水平的提升效果因企业所处不同生命周期存在异质性差异。基于此,从政策层面、企业层面及社会层面提出建议,力求企业能更好地运用ESG表现提升其绿色创新水平,助力我国“双碳”目标的实现。
Based on the annual data of manufacturing A-share listed companies in China's Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2016 to 2022,this study investigates the impact of corporate ESG performance on green innovation in the manufacturing industry.The research found that good corporate ESG performance can improve the quality and quantity of green innovation,thereby enhancing the overall level of green innovation in enterprises.Moreover,the effect of good corporate ESG performance on improving the level of green innovation varies heterogeneously depending on the different life cycles of the enterprise.Based on this,suggestions are proposed from the policy level,enterprise level,and social level,aiming to enable enterprises to better utilize ESG performance to enhance their green innovation level and help achieve China's“dual carbon”goals.
