摘要
帕梅拉和沙米拉的形象之争作为一处经典疑问,引发了针对塞缪尔·理查逊的小说《帕梅拉》的批评热情。本文试图借鉴文学述行理论,从文本-读者的互动关系入手,分析小说在文本内外不同的述行过程及效果,阐述帕梅拉和沙米拉的建构路径,并指出小说在两者形象构建的罅隙中展现出主体性的述行意义,在文类进化和意识启蒙方面起到了推动作用。
The paradox between Pamela and Shamela,as a classic issue,had given impetus to fervent criticism upon the Samuel Richardson's novel Pamela.Based on the performative theory of literature and following the interactive relationship between text and reader,this paper tries to explore the competing performative process and effect within and outside the text.By analyzing the construction trajectory of Pamela and Shamela,this paper recognizes the autonomous performative significance embodied in the rift between these two literary images,and argues that this novel has helped with to genre evolution and consciousnesstransition.
