Taking the new urban EMU with a speed of 160 km/h developed for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as the research object,this paper briefly presents the research and development background,overall performance and parameters of the EMU,elaborates in detail from the aspects of electrical system,bogie,brake system,mechanical system,interior environment control system,intelligent operation and maintenance system,and summarizes its technical characteristics and progressiveness.
