Influence and Mechanism of Social Classs on the Residents'Health Level:An Empirical Study Based on Multiple Mediation Modeling

采用2020年中国家庭追踪调查(China Family Panel Studies,CFPS)数据,探讨了社会阶层对居民健康状况的影响机制.实证分析结果揭示,在健康预防机制方面,社会阶层通过影响生活方式对居民健康产生显著影响.在健康恢复机制方面,社会阶层通过影响医疗资源的获取能力间接影响居民健康.研究显示,医疗资源的支出能力和可及性在社会阶层与健康水平关系中具有部分中介效应.

This study used data from the 2020 China Family Panel Studies(CFPS)to investigate the mecha-nisms by which social class affects the health status of the population.The results of the empirical analysis reveal that,in terms of health prevention mechanisms,social class has a significant impact on the health of the population by influencing lifestyles.In terms of health recovery mechanisms,social class indirectly affects the health of the population by influencing the ability to access medical resources.Studies have shown that the ability to spend and accessibility of medical resources have a partially mediating effect in the relationship between social class and health level.
