跌倒高危老年人的人格特征与跌倒的相关性研究

A study on the relationship between personality traits and falls in the elderly patients at high risk of falls

目的本研究旨在探究跌倒高危老年人的跌倒情况和人格特征,以及二者的相关性,为预防跌倒提供干预措施的理论依据。方法选取2023年1月至12月海南省某三甲综合医院具有跌倒高危风险的老年住院患者作为研究对象,采用便利抽样方法,并使用一般资料调查问卷、Morse跌倒/坠床评分表和中国大五人格问卷简版(CBF-PI-B)进行调查。结果在425例高危跌倒风险的老年住院患者中,跌倒发生率为32.5%。多因素二元Logistic回归分析结果显示,年龄、学历、神经质人格、开放性人格是高危跌倒老年患者发生跌倒的独立危险因素;严谨性人格和宜人性人格与高危跌倒老年患者发生跌倒呈负相关,是高危跌倒老年患者发生跌倒的保护性因素。结论高危跌倒老年患者的跌倒发生情况与人格特征密切相关,医护人员可以针对患者的人格特征制定和实施干预措施,以降低跌倒相关并发症的负面影响和医疗成本,降低高危跌倒老年患者因跌倒导致的死亡率。

Objective To investigate the fall situation and personality characteristics of elderly patients at high risk of falling,and the correlation between them,to provide a theoretical basis for interventions to prevent the occurrence of falls in elderly patients at high risk of falling.Methods Elderly inpatients at a tertiary general hospital in Hainan Province who were at high risk of falling from January to December 2023 were selected as the study subjects,and were surveyed using a convenience sampling method and a general information questionnaire,the Morse Falls/Bed Fall Scale,and the short version of the Chinese Big Five Personality Questionnaire(CBF-PI-B).Results Among 425 elderly inpatients at high risk of falling,the incidence of falls was 32.5%.Multifactorial binary logistic regression analysis,showed that age,education,neuroticism,and openness were independent risk factors for the occurrence of falls in elderly patients at high risk of falls;conscientiousness and agreeableness were negatively associated with the occurrence of falls in elderly patients at high risk of falls and were protective factors for the occurrence of falls in elderly patients at high risk of falls.Conclusion The occurrence of falls in elderly patients at high risk of falls is closely related to personality traits,and healthcare professionals can develop and implement interventions to address patients personality traits in order to reduce the negative impact of fall-related complications and healthcare costs,and to reduce the mortality rate due to falls in elderly patients at high risk of falls.
