双向FDI协同与制造业高质量发展——基于中国省级面板数据的实证分析

Two-way FDI coordinated development and high-quality development of manufacturing industry——An empirical analysis based on Chinese provincial panel data

推进制造业双向FDI高效互动与协同发展,是实现制造业高质量发展的重要途径。基于2004—2021年中国23个省区市面板数据,运用固定效应、中介效应和空间杜宾模型考察双向FDI协同发展对制造业高质量发展的影响。研究发现:(1)双向FDI协同发展对制造业高质量发展具有显著促进效应,该结论在一系列稳健性检验后依然成立;(2)制造业高质量发展存在空间相关性,双向FDI协同发展促进了邻近地区制造业高质量发展;(3)机制检验发现,双向FDI协同发展通过提升技术创新投入和人力资本积累赋能制造业高质量发展。因此,需实施制造业“引进来”和“走出去”相结合的政策,释放双向FDI协同发展的空间溢出效应,打通双向FDI协同发展的赋能渠道,以更好地促进制造业高质量发展和推进制造强国目标建设。

Promoting the efficient interaction and coordinated development of two-way FDI in the manufacturing industry is an im-portant path to achieve high-quality development of the manufacturing industry in China.Based on the panel data of 23 provinces and municipalities in China from 2004 to 2021,this paper empirically analyzed the influence of the coordinated development of two-way FDI in the manufacturing industry on the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry by using fixed effects,intermediary effects and spatial Durbin model.The results showed that:①the coordinated development of two-way FDI had a significant promoting effect on the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and this conclusion was still valid after a series of robustness tests.②There was spatial correlation in the high-quality development of manufacturing industry,and the coordinated development of two-way FDI promoted the high-quality development of manufacturing industry in neighboring regions.③Mechanism test showed that the coordinated development of two-way FDI could promote the high-quality development of manufacturing industry by promoting techno-logical innovation investment and human capital accumulation.Therefore,it is necessary to implement the policy of combining“bringing in”and“going out”in the manufacturing industry,release the spatial spillover effect of two-way FDI coordinated development,and open up the enabling channel of two-way FDI coordinated development,so as to better promote the high-quality development of the manufacturing industry and promote the goal of building China into a strong manufacturing country.
