摘要
《黄雀记》荣获第九届茅盾文学奖,是苏童自认的“标签”之作。在《黄雀记》中,作者以香椿树街为人物活动的空间场所,围绕祖父、保润、仙女、柳生等多人的精神图景展开叙述,生动展示了一个个形色各异的人性欲望,由此解构市井人生逼仄困厄的精神渊薮。与此同时,小说还通过井亭医院和水塔这两个极具隐喻内涵的空间地标,以及绳索、电筒、照片等具体意象,将故事叙述的视角自由切换,由此勾画出一幅幅自私冷漠、权力膜拜、弱者互害的社会众生相,从而实现了社会批判与人性反思的叙事深度。
"The Sparrow Record"won the ninth Mao Dun Literature Prize and is considered by Su Tong as his"signature"work.In"The Sparrow Record,"the author uses Xiangchun Street as the spatial setting for the characters activities,unfolding the narrative around the spiritual landscapes of figures such as the grandfather,Baoyun,the fairy,and Liu Sheng,vividly showcasing a variety of human desires.This deconstructs the spiritual abyss of the confined and troubled lives in the city.At the same time,the novel also uses the Jingting Hospital and the water tower,two spatial landmarks with rich metaphorical connotations,as well as specific images like ropes,flashlights,and photographs,to freely switch narrative perspectives.Thus,it paints a series of social portraits of selfishness and indifference,worship of power,and mutual harm among the weak,thereby achieving narrative depth in social critique and reflection on human nature.
