By analyzing the structure and working principle of mechanical seals,common factors leading to leakage were summarized,including quality problems,improper installation,changes in operating conditions,pump defects,etc.In response to these reasons,a series of effective treatment measures were proposed,such as strengthening acceptance,correcting installation and commissioning,optimizing operating parameters and repairing pump defects,to improve the operating reliability and sealing property of the pump.
