摘要
单细胞代谢组学可以研究细胞的异质性,有助于研究者理解生命体如何改变状态以应对环境变化.质谱技术因其高灵敏度、高通量等优势被广泛应用于单细胞代谢组学研究中.针对要解决的生命科学问题,研究者对质谱技术在代谢物覆盖度、分析通量和代谢物空间信息三个方面有着不同的需求.本文从以上三个需求出发,对近年来质谱技术在单细胞代谢组学领域中的发展和应用进行归纳总结,并对其未来前景提出展望.
Single-cell metabolomics can investigate cellular heterogeneity,playing a pivotal role in understanding how organisms alter their states in response to environmental changes.Mass spectrometry,with its advantages of high sensitivity and high throughput,has been extensively utilized in the context of single-cell metabolomics.Researchers have distinct requirements for mass spectrometry in terms of metabolite coverage,analytical throughput,and spatial information of metabolites,depending on the questions related to life science they aim to address.This paper starts from these three demands,reviews the development and application of mass spectrometry technology in the field of singlecell metabolomics in recent years,and offers our prospective of this field.
