摘要
本研究以电影《绿皮书》为例,基于Fairclough关于话语实践及话语权力的相关理论,通过分析影片中主要角色的话语实践,比较黑人——白人种族权势关系、雇主——雇员机构权势关系在话语中的建构过程,探讨复杂权势关系下话语实践的运作方式,以期揭示复杂权势关系在话语实践中的运作机制。研究发现,权势上位者在对话语关系和主体位置的控制中,经常受到权势下位者的挑战。但双方却都会做出一定妥协,使交际不至于破裂,从而建构出变异权势关系,实现最终的交际目的。
Power relations in discourse practice are often interacted and complicated.Speaker in high power produces and reproduces his prestigious powerful position by controlling the content,relations,and positioning in discourses,so as to ensure that the discourse follows the conventional power relations and to consolidate his prestigious position.Speaker in relatively lower power reproduces or transforms the existing power relations by choosing to adapt to or challenge the existing power relations.Based on the theory of discourse practice and discourse power proposed by Fairclough,this paper conducts a case study on discourse practices under complex power relationships.After examining the discourse practices of the main characters in the film The Green Book,this paper explores the mechanism of discourse practice under complex power relations by comparing the white-black ethnic power relation and the employer-employee institutional power relation.
