As a treasure of folk culture,Hunan folk songs have been popular for a long time and are loved by the masses of the people.There are many female-themed articles in Hunan Folk Songs,which tell the survival predicament faced by women at the bottom of the labor force and the awakening of female subject consciousness from the female perspective.Under the double oppression of material and spiritual,they refused the unhappy marriage,pursued free love,independent personality and equal social status,all of which reflected their resistance to the oppression of feudal masculinity.
