With the rapid development of information technology and the increasing demands of audiences for the viewing experience of broadcast television programs,the transmission of broadcast television signals needs to be improved in terms of networking,intelligence,and high or even ultra-high definition.In this regard,optical fiber communication technology has significant advantages.Based on an overview of optical fiber communication technology,this paper sorts out its specific applications in broadcast television signal transmission,and proposes issues that need attention based on the application situation,providing references for the application of optical fiber communication technology in broadcast television signal transmission.
