猫脑膜瘤的诊断与治疗

Diagnosis and Treatment of Feline Meningioma

脑膜瘤是一种老年猫好发的颅内肿瘤,其发病率与性别及品种无相关性,常见临床症状是转圈、共济失调、失明、痴呆等。猫脑膜瘤采取放疗及化疗等保守方式去治疗,其预后不良,存活时间短。目前国内外对于猫脑膜瘤的治疗一致采用手术方式,大多数肿瘤可以被完全切除。脑膜瘤可以通过计算机断层扫描(CT)或磁共振成像(MRI)进行初步诊断,但最终确诊需要进行病理组织学检查。作者于2023年4月接诊1例猫脑膜瘤病例,通过手术切除治疗后恢复良好。论文详细记录了该病例的诊治过程,以期为兽医师临床工作提供经验与参考。

Meningioma,which is an intracranial tumor that is common in elderly cats,has no correlation with sex and breed,and common clinical symptoms are circle,ataxia,blindness,dementia,etc.Feline meningiomas are treated conservatively by radiotherapy and chemotherapy,and their prognosis is poor and their survival time is short.At present,the treatment of feline meningiomas at home and abroad adopts surgery,and most tumors can be completely removed.Meningiomas can be initially diagnosed by computed tomography(CT)or magnetic resonance imaging(MRI),but histopathology is required to definitively confirm the diagnosis.The author received one case of feline meningioma in April 2023 and recovered well after surgical resection.This paper records the diagnosis and treatment process of this case in detail,in order to provide experience and reference for veterinarians'clinical work.
