摘要
目的报告一例罕见的甲状腺乳头状癌(PTC)合并脊柱骨巨细胞瘤(GCTB)的病例,增加对两种疾病的医学了解,并探讨3D打印技术在手术中的应用、治疗方法及其成效。方法32岁女性患者,在接受全甲状腺切除术及淋巴结清扫后,因胸背部疼痛就医,最终被诊断为脊柱GCTB。治疗过程中,采用3D打印技术辅助进行GCTB的手术切除,并使用3D打印人工椎体进行脊柱重建。结果手术成功切除GCTB并通过3D打印技术重建脊柱,术后患者获得良好的支撑和稳定性的恢复。分子病理学检查显示H3F3A基因G34W错义突变,符合骨巨细胞瘤的诊断。结论该病例报告增加了对甲状腺乳头状癌与脊柱骨巨细胞瘤的了解,并强调了跨学科合作和分子生物学在诊断和治疗中的重要性。此外,本病例还展示了3D打印技术在脊柱手术中的应用,为未来的手术治疗提供了新的视角和方法。
Objective To describe a rare case of papillary thyroid carcinoma(PTC)combined with spinal giant cell tumor(GCTB),enhancing the medical understanding of both diseases,and explores the application of 3D printing technology in surgery,as well as the treatment methods and their effectiveness.Methods A 32-year-old female patient,after undergoing total thyroidectomy and lymph node dissection,sought medical attention for thoracic and back pain and was ultimately diagnosed with spinal GCTB.During treatment,3D printing technology was utilized to assist in the surgical resection of GCTB and the reconstruction of the spine using a 3D-printed artificial vertebra.Results The surgery successfully excisioned the GCTB and reconstructed the spine using 3D printing technology,resulting in good postoperative support and stability for the patient.Molecular pathology examination revealed an H3F3A gene G34W missense mutation,which was consistent with the diagnosis of giant cell tumor of bone.Conclusion This case report enhances our understanding of the association between PTC and GCTB,emphasizing the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration and molecular biology in diagnosis and treatment.Additionally,this case showcases the application of 3D printing technology in spinal surgery,offering new perspectives and approaches for future surgical treatments.
