Mu Dan was a poet who repeatedly wrote about the experience of“seasons”in his poems.The trajectory of“seasonal writing”in Mu Dan’s poems reflected his complete experience of various stages of life and his deviation from the seasonal writing in the classical Chinese tradition,presenting a new characteristic of seasonal feeling.The starting point of Mu Dan’s“seasonal writing”was the life feelings of modern individuals.His poems were not only filled with the unique language tension and full sensibility of modern poetry,but also reflected the historical situation of modern China and the fate of individuals in history,thus distancing themselves from the experience of“seasons”in the classical Chinese thought and classical literature tradition,and creating a brand-new“seasonal writing”.At the same time,the“seasonal consciousness”embodied in Mu Dan’s poems was highly complex and condensed,absorbing issues of local customs,ethics,times,society,life,eros and civilization into the“seasonal consciousness”.
