In response to changes in multi-generation co-living household demands for residential space caused by adjustments to the birth policy, this paper, based on the theory of environment-behavior studies, examines space and behavior from a dual perspective.Through in-depth investigation of typical multi-generation cohousing scenarios,it analyzes intergenerational behavioral characteristics and constructs spatial scenes to address hierarchical needs.By exploring new living modes under multi-generation cohabitation, the study proposes design strategies at three levels:macro(layout optimization),meso(functional space creation),and micro(module detail enhancement). These strategies aim to support the all-age transformation and inclusive optimization of modern residential spaces.
