In order to enhance the quality of Platycladus orientalis L.seedling cultivation in nutrient cups and artificial afforestation in northern regions,this paper summarizes the key technical points of nutrient cup seedling cultivation for Platycladus orientalis L.,integrating practical production experience,including aspects such as seed collection,nursery site selection,substrate preparation,sowing,and seedling management.Additionally,it analyzes the technical essentials for drought-resistant afforestation of Platycladus orientalis L.,covering land preparation,planting techniques,mixed forest establishment,pruning,thinning,and pest and disease control,providing a reference for relevant departments.
