Multi-Dimensional Geo-Relations in the Digital Age and the Practical Value of the Belt and Road Initiative

共建“一带一路”的实践、发展和创新持续影响和塑造当前地缘关系,同时也为地缘关系研究带来新的启示。传统地缘政治理论对20世纪以来的国际政治具有重要影响。但是,随着时代发展和技术进步,以单一空间控制为中心的主流地缘政治理论的局限性和片面性日益凸显。随着技术发展,尤其是数字技术对海、陆、空等地缘空间人地活动的赋能,当代地缘关系日益呈现空间网络化特征。在复合型地缘关系中,同一区域内各种地缘权力多元并存;单一国家的地缘权力则更加复杂化,地缘空间控制不再是获取权力的主要方式,合作与地缘权力的关系日益密切。“一带一路”实践通过数字化基础设施加强共建国家间的跨区域联系,突破了传统地缘空间限制,形成了不断扩大的、带有地缘聚合效应的合作网络,展现出塑造复合型地缘关系的能力,并为复合型地缘关系的形成提供了实例支撑。同时,数字技术支持下共建“一带一路”实践也将持续塑造全球地缘关系的未来发展,促进地缘空间进一步融合。

The ongoing practice,development,and innovation of the Belt and Road Initiative(BRI)continue to influence and reshape contemporary georelations,providing new insights into the study of geopolitics.Digital technologies have empowered human activities across land,sea,and air,giving modern geo-relations networked and spatial characteristics.In these multi-dimensional geo-relations,various geopolitical powers coexist within the same region,and the geopolitical power of individual countries has become more complex.The control of geographical space is no longer the primary,means of gaining power,and cooperation is increasingly tied to geopolitical power.The Belt and Road Initiative enhances cross-regional connectivity between participating countries through digital infrastructure,overcoming the limitations of traditional geographical spaces and creating an expanding cooperative network with significant geopolitical implications.The BRI demonstrates the ability to shape multi-dimensional geo-relations and provides a concrete example of how such relationships can be forged.
