连介词“为因”历时与共时考察

关于连词“为因”,有的学者认为它在《红楼梦》中消失,有的学者认为它在《西游记》中就已经消失。其实,《西游记》后的明清白话文献中“为因”一直存在,且有一定的使用频率。清代宁波、上海、福建屏南的契约文书以及清代与民国贵州清水江流域的契约文书也有运用。即便是现在,一些方言中也偶有使用。与“因为”一样,“为因”既有连词用法,也有介词用法。“为因”的用法都分布在南方,这与南方比北方有更多“BA”式词语有关,清水江流域的“为因”也可能与贵州其他民族语言有关。

Regarding the disappearance time of the conjunction"weiyin",some believe it had vanished by the time of Dream of the Red Chamber,while others argue it had disappeared by the time of Journey to the West.In fact,"weiyin"continued to exist in vernacular literature from the Ming and Qing Dynasties following Journey to the West,and it was used with a certain frequency.It also appeared in Qing Dynasty contractual documents from Ningbo,Shanghai,and Pingtan in Fujian,as well as in contractual documents from the Qingshui River basin in Guizhou during the Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China.In modern times,"weiyin"is occasionally used in some dialects.Similar to"yinwei","weiyin"functions both as a conjunction and a preposition.The term"weiyin"is predominantly found in southern regions,which have more"BA"‐type words compared to the north,and its occurrence in the Qingshui River basin may also be related to other ethnic languages in Guizhou.
