安徽繁昌方言的连读变调

On the Tone Sandhi of Fanchang Dialect in Anhui Province

安徽繁昌方言共5个单字调,非叠字两字组25种调类组合有11种发生变调,且均是前字变调,后字不变调。轻声轻而不短,调值是前字单字调的延展,部分能区别词义。叠字按照两字组轻声变调;叠字表不同程度义,变调不同。繁昌方言去声[┐]55不分阴阳,依靠声母清浊区别;但清浊声母在高平[┐]55调、高元音韵母[■]中对立消失;去声[┐]55调,可能来自轻声变调。

There are five mono-syllabic tones in Fanchang dialect in Anhui province.Among the 25 disyllabic constructions,11 kinds of tone sandhi occur,in all of which the tone sandhi occurs on the first syllable but not the last one.The pitch of the neutral tone,some of which can distinguish the word meaning,is the extension of the mono-syllabic tone of the first syllable.The tone sandhi law of reduplicative words is similar to that of neutral tone and different laws are implied when different degree is indicated as to the reduplicative words.The MC Qusheng去声tone are pronounced[┐]55 in Fanchang dialect,irrespective of the division of MC Qing清or Zhuo浊initials,and the difference lies in voiced or unvoiced initials,except for the case of high vowel finals[■]in which difference is neutralized.The Qusheng去声tone[┐]55 may evolved from the neutral tone.
