In the new era of digitalization,the application of digital technology is increasingly extensive.Academic journals face both opportunities and challenges in this digital transformation.Currently,these journals encounter several critical issues,including insufficient overall efficacy of the innovation system,incomplete industrialization and factor market reforms,inadequate resource allocation efficiency,an underdeveloped quality assurance system,the need for improvement in journal content and service quality,the need for refinement in the formulation and implementation mechanisms of macro policies,ambiguity and absence in the roles of government and institutions,and imperfections in the results sharing mechanism.Facing the new circumstances,to achieve high-quality development,academic journals must further clarify the development goals of digital transformation.Specifically,it is necessary to accelerate technology integration and digital transformation,strengthen talent training and team building,improve data-driven decision-making,enhance user experience and interaction,reinforce quality control and standard setting,innovate and diversify income models,enhance the social influence and visibility of journals to establish brand effects,cultivate online and offline academic communities,and promote international cooperation and exchange.These measures aim to foster the prosperity and high-quality growth of the academic journal publishing industry.
