摘要
基于几何光学的原理,深入分析了在塑料沙中观察到的彩色光晕现象.借鉴雨滴产生虹的光学原理,推导了光线在塑料微球颗粒表面的入射角与出射角和彩色光晕视角之间的数学关系,计算得出彩色光晕外边缘红光和内边缘紫光在塑料沙中的视角分别为17.01°和14.72°,相应的折射率分别为1.5711和1.6031.探讨了彩色光晕的形成机制、色散现象、光谱特征以及光强分布,阐释了在塑料沙中无法观察到霓现象的原因,即其视角超过了90°.
Based on the principles of geometric optics,this paper developed the analysis of the colorful halos observed in plastic sand.Inspired by the optical principles of the rainbow formation by raindrops,we derived the mathematical relationships among the incident angle of light on the surface of plastic microsphere particles,the emergent angle,and the viewing angle of the rainbow.The calculation result said that the viewing angles of the outer edge red light and inner edge violet light in the colorful halos within plastic sand were 17.01°and 14.72°respectively,and the corresponding refractive indices were 1.5711 and 1.6031.Furthermore,the study was explored on the formation mechanism,dispersion phenomena,spectral characteristics,and light intensity distribution of these colorful halos.Additionally,it clarified the reason why the secondary rainbow phenomenon could not be observed in plastic sand,namely,its viewing angle exceeded 90°.
