Five Dimensions for Understanding Li Dazhao in the New Era

李大钊是中国共产主义运动的先驱,伟大的马克思主义者,杰出的无产阶级革命家,中国共产党的主要创始人之一。新时代读懂李大钊,需要着眼于五个向度:一是地域文化滋育的向度,应深入了解李大钊生于斯、长于斯的燕赵大地;二是革命精神锻造的向度,应深入领会李大钊对伟大建党精神的以身淬炼;三是思想播火传薪的向度,应深入把握李大钊对马克思主义中国化的理论贡献;四是以百姓心为心的向度,应深入体察李大钊心中始终装着劳苦大众的人民立场;五是异质美德通合的向度,应深入感悟李大钊身上德厚流光的伟大人格力量。

Li Dazhao is a pioneer of the Chinese Communist revolution,a great Marxist,an outstanding proletarian revolutionary,and one of the principal founders of the Communist Party of China.To truly understand Li Dazhao in the context of the new era,five perspectives should be emphasized:first,the perspective of regional cultural nurturing:it is essential to have a deep understanding of the Yan-zhao region,where Li Dazhao was born and raised;second,the perspective of revolutionary spirit forging:we must deeply appreciate how Li Dazhao personally refined the great founding spirit of the Party;third,the perspective of ideological dissemination:we should thoroughly grasp Li Dazhao’s theoretical contributions to the Sinicization of Marxism;fourth,the perspective of solidarity with the people:we should keenly understand how Li Dazhao always kept the laboring people at the core of his heart;and fifth,the perspective of integrating diverse virtues:we should deeply perceive the great moral strength reflected in Li Dazhao’s shining character.
