摘要
基于我国2008-2022年31个省份(港澳台地区除外)的面板数据,从普惠金融的资源配置功能、信息中介功能和风险管理功能出发,运用固定效应模型和中介效应模型,实证分析普惠金融对农村居民受教育水平的影响效应和作用机制。研究发现,普惠金融可以有效提高农村居民的受教育水平,在此过程中,家庭教育投资发挥部分中介作用,即普惠金融通过增加家庭教育投资,提高农村居民的受教育水平;普惠金融对农村居民受教育水平的影响存在农业发展水平异质性和人口数量异质性,其作用效果在非农业大省和非农村人口大省更明显。基于此,提出加强金融知识宣传、吸引社会资本进入教育领域、提高普惠金融均衡发展水平等措施,以更好地发挥普惠金融的作用。
Based on the panel data of 31 provinces(except Hong Kong,Macao and Taiwan)in China from 2008 to 2022,and from the perspective of resource allocation function,information intermediary function and risk management function of inclusive finance,this paper uses the fixed effect model and intermediary effect model to empirically analyze the effect of inclusive finance on the education level of rural residents.It is found that inclusive finance can effectively improve the education level of rural residents.And in this process,family education investment plays a partially mediating role,that is,inclusive finance can improve the education level of rural residents by increasing family education investment.In addition,the influence of inclusive finance on the education level of rural residents is characterized by the heterogeneity of agricultural development level and population size,and such effect is more obvious in non-agricultural provinces and non-populous provinces.Based on the research findings,this paper puts forward measures such as strengthening the publicity of financial knowledge,attracting social capital into the field of education,and improving the balanced development level of inclusive finance,so as to better play the role of inclusive finance.
