At present,the management and cost control of some civil engineering projects are insufficient,which leads to the waste of resources and has a negative impact on the construction quality and progress of the project.Therefore,it is urgent to seek effective improvement measures to ensure the project quality.This paper aims to analyze the core concepts of civil engineering management and cost control,and reveal the main challenges in the field of civil engineering management and cost control through specific cases.On this basis,the article will propose practical management and cost control strategies for these challenges for reference.
