In Les Années,Anne Ernaux,contemporary French writer and winner of the 2022 Nobel Prize in Literature,merges countless pieces of memory into a“dynamic landscape of the French society”.She shows personal memory and collective memory through personal life experience and symbolic“field”.Her observation of social problems externalizes personal memory and integrates with collective memory skillfully,showing the writer's deep observation and critical reflection on gender,class and ethnic issues.
