The study of Mongolia's rich heritage of didactic poetry necessitates a deep exploration of the term"soyiger,"examining its etymology,morphological structure,meaning,and usage.This paper meticulously analyzes the origin of"soyuger"and its applications by referencing various Mongolian literary texts.The root of the term"soyuger"is identified as"soyü,"which,through historical linguistic evolution,has developed into the synonymous root forms"soyü,""soyu,"and"soyi."Additionally,the synonymous term soyul suryal"(pronounced as"soyul"in modern Mongolian)is discussed,emphasizing the correct historical pronunciation as"soyul sural."
