With the rapid development of technology,the production and lifestyle of human society have undergone tremendous transformation.Compared with the rapid progress of China's economy and technology,the pollution of ecological environment,especially water environment is more prominent,which has become a key problem seriously affecting people's daily lives and urban sustainable development.Water pollution,as a potential disruptor of ecosystem stability,has become a key means of purifying water quality through environmental biotechnology with its unique and sustainable advantages.This article aims to analyze the concept,content,and characteristics of environmental biotechnology,as well as its practical application in water pollution control,and propose practical and feasible improvement measures based on the existing situation.
