In middle school Chinese composition teaching,detailed description is particularly important.It can not only encourage students to observe things around them carefully,but also better convey their rich emotions and inner world.Therefore,mastering the skills of detailed description plays an important role in improving the quality of students'compositions.Teachers should strengthen guidance and training in the skill of describing details in the actual teaching process,in order to help students create dynamic,interesting,and vibrant excellent compositions.The article analyzes the role of detail description and explores the shortcomings of teaching detail description in junior high school.Finally,several teaching strategies are proposed.
