Tour of the Old Site of Ziming Library

子明图书馆旧址位于山西省太原市文瀛公园东北隅,它曾是太原市图书馆老馆舍。子明图书馆是阎锡山为给父亲祝寿而建,并将其用作图书馆,以振兴山西文化。子明图书馆独特的造型,为我国民国时期公共图书馆建筑增添了多元文化意向。

The old site of Ziming Library is now located in the northeast corner of Wenying Park in Taiyuan,Shanxi Province,which used to be the old premises of Taiyuan Library.Ziming Library was built by Yan Xishan to celebrate his father′s birthday and to use it as a library to revitalize Shanxi culture.The unique shape of Ziming Library adds multi-cultural intention to the public library building of Republic of China period.
