Exploring the clinical efficacy of arthroscopic repair combined with moxibustion and acupuncture for meniscus injuries in the knee joint.80 patients with knee meniscus injury admitted to Taihe Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from February 2022 to February 2023 were randomly selected as the research subjects. They were divided into an observation group and a control group using a random number table method. The observation group received arthroscopic repair surgery combined with moxibustion and acupuncture treatment, while the control group received simple arthroscopic meniscus repair surgery. The length of hospital stay, number of joint pain cases, pain rate, and Lysholm Knee Score Scale(LKSS)scores and joint range of motion(ROM)at 1,2,4,and 8 weeks after surgery were compared between the two groups. The results showed that the observation group had significantly better hospitalization days, number of joint pain cases, and pain rate related indicators than the control group(P<0.05).Research has found that arthroscopic repair of meniscus injuries in the knee joint combined with moxibustion and acupuncture treatment has good efficacy in relieving postoperative pain, swelling, and other symptoms in patients, with good safety, and is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
