As an important chemical raw material,dimethyl carbonate is widely used in polyester,lithium battery electrolyte solvent and other fields.Firstly,the production process of dimethyl carbonate is briefly introduced,and the cost of the main process route is analyzed.It is found that the cost of propylene oxide transesterification is relatively low.Secondly,the production capacity,output and market situation of dimethyl carbonate are analyzed.It is found that the production capacity of dimethyl carbonate is increased rapidly but the utilization rate is low.Finally,combined with the market situation,the development trend is forecasted,and the development suggestions are put forward.
