摘要
数字化转型给企业履行社会责任(CSR)带来挑战。数字化转型是否促进企业履行CSR中的员工责任进而提高全要素生产率?本文研究了企业数字化转型对其全要素生产率的影响及履行员工责任的作用。研究发现:第一,数字化转型能够显著提高企业的全要素生产率;人工智能技术、大数据技术等的嵌入以及数字技术的实践应用均会提高企业的全要素生产率,而区块链技术降低了全要素生产率。第二,数字化转型通过促进企业履行员工责任进而提高全要素生产率,员工责任起到中介作用;企业实施对员工负责的数字化转型也有助于提升全要素生产率。本文有助于丰富负责任的数字化有关理论,为企业实施数字化转型来提升企业效率和效能提供启示。
Digital transformation brings challenges for enterprises to fulfill their corporate social responsibilities(CSR).Does digital transformation promote employee responsibility in CSR and thus improve a company's total factor productivity?This paper examines the impact of digital transformation of enterprises on total factor productivity and the role of employee responsibility.This study has the following findings:First,the implementation of digital transformation can significantly improve their total factor productivity.Artificial intelligence technology,big data technology,and the practical application of digital technology can significantly improve the total factor productivity of enterprises.However,the application of blockchain technology will reduce the total factor productivity.Second,digital transformation can improve the total factor productivity of enterprises by motivating them to perform employee responsibility,and employee responsibility plays a mediating role.Implementing digital transformation that is responsible to employees can also help improve total factor productivity.This paper contributes to enriching responsible digitalization theory and provides relevant enlightenment for enterprises to improve efficiency and effectiveness through digital transformation.
