西夏文“转注字”考论

A Study on the“Zhuanzhu Characters”in Tangut Script

对西夏文“转注字”的理论认识,主要借助于对汉字“转注字”的认识。字形相通、字音相同或相近、字义相同或相关的一组字为“转注字”。通过穷尽式检索《同音》与《文海》,发现西夏文中至少有102组这样的字。文章首先对这些字的形、音、义关系进行梳理,随后对与其有关的几个问题进行讨论。

The theoretical understanding of the“zhuanzhu characters”in Tangut script is primarily facilitated by the knowledge of“zhuanzhu characters”in Chinese characters.This article posits that a set of characters constitutes“zhuanzhu characters”if they share similar graphical forms,identical or similar pronunciations,and identical or related meanings.Through exhaustive searches of the Tongyin(a Tangut dictionary)and Wenhai(another Tangut dictionary),it is found that there are at least 102 such character sets in Tangut script.The article first sorts out the graphical,phonetic,and semantic relationships among these characters and then proceeds to discuss several related issues.
