郑进教授是第六、第七批全国老中医专家学术经验继承工作的指导老师,临床经验丰富。临证中善于从主诉确定理法方药,在治疗过程中,他认为胸痹之本在于本虚标实,以“不通”为其主要病机,病位在胸部,主要是心、肺,在辨证中抓患者主诉,辨明病机进行论治,根据病情,权衡达变,治疗中始终兼顾正气,攻补兼施,调和阴阳,祛邪通痹和补虚宣通并用,擅长使用民族药物治疗取效佳,用药精良,遵古而不泥于古,善用成方而又不拘一方。
