As the healthcare system reform continues to advance,public hospitals are encountering unprecedented challenges in cost management.This paper thoroughly examines the current state of cost management in public hospitals,further highlighting its critical role in hospital operations.It identifies significant deficiencies in areas such as cost objectives,cost accounting,cost control,and cost assessment in public hospitals.In response to these shortcomings,the paper proposes a series of practical strategies aimed at optimizing resource allocation,enhancing cost management,and improving operational efficiency.These strategies are intended to provide new perspectives and implementation pathways for the continuous improvement of public hospitals.
