Three Major Initiatives:China's Wisdom and China's Plan for Building a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind

“胸怀天下”是习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的世界观和方法论,贯穿的立场、观点、方法在国际和全球层面的体现,建设新型国际关系和构建人类命运共同体是习近平外交思想中世界观和方法论的集中体现。面对“世界怎么了?我们怎么办?”这一“时代之问”和“建设一个什么样的世界、如何建设这一世界”的“世界之问”,习近平总书记以大国领袖的责任担当,以胸怀天下的情怀,提出了构建人类命运共同体的总体思路,为构建人类命运共同体,先后提出了“全球发展倡议”“全球安全倡议”“全球文明倡议”,为构建人类命运共同体贡献中国智慧、提供中国方案。这“三大倡议”形成了“三位一体”的构建人类命运共同体的总体框架,“三大倡议”之间相互贯通,形成一个完整的体系,从理论和实践的结合上为系统回答“时代之问”和“世界之问”提供了答案。揭示“三大倡议”的生成逻辑、理论内涵、实践要求、价值旨归,对于深刻理解习近平总书记关于人类命运共同体理念的时代背景、重大意义、丰富内涵和实现途径意义重大。

“Embracing the world”is the world outlook and methodology of Xi Jinping's thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era.The positions,views and methods throughout are reflected at the international and global levels.Building a new type of international relations and building a community with a shared future for mankind are the concentrated embodiment of the world outlook and methodology in Xi Jinping's diplomatic thought.In the face of“what is wrong with the world?What should we do?”and“what kind of world to build and how to build this world”,General Secretary Xi Jinping put forward the general idea of building a community with a shared future for mankind with the responsibility of leaders of major countries and the heart for the world.In order to build a community with a shared future for mankind,he successively put forward the“global development initiative”,“global security initiative”and“global civilization initiative”,contributing Chinese wisdom and providing Chinese solutions for building a community with a shared future for mankind.These“three initiatives”form a“Trinity”overall framework for building a community with a shared future for mankind.The“three initiatives”are interconnected and form a complete system,which provides answers to the“questions of the times”and“questions of the world”from the combination of theory and practice.Revealing the generative logic,theoretical connotation,practical requirements and value objectives of the“three initiatives”is of great significance for a profound understanding of the era background,significance,rich connotation and realization ways of General Secretary Xi Jinping's concept of a community with a shared future for mankind.
