电影作为文化传播的重要媒介,字幕翻译不仅要传达原文的字面意思,更要传递背后的文化内涵。在国际传播视域下,电影字幕翻译中文化特色词汇的处理是一个既具挑战性又富有创造性的过程。该文以电影《伏妖攻略之穿墙探花》为例,探讨在国际传播背景下,电影字幕翻译文化特色词汇的英译策略。通过分析归化和异化两种翻译策略的应用,旨在揭示如何在保留原文文化特色的同时,确保目的语观众的理解和接受。研究采用案例分析法,对比不同翻译策略的效果,并提出优化建议,以期为中国电影的国际传播提供必要的思考和借鉴。

The film,as an important medium for cultural export,requires that subtitle translation not only convey the literal meaning of the original text but also transfer the underlying cultural connotations.Handling culture-specific words in subtitle translation from the perspective of international communication is both challenging and creative.This paper takes the film Fate:Into the Wall as an example to explore translation strategies of culture-specific words in film subtitle translation from the perspective of international communication.By analyzing the application of both domestication and foreignization translation strategies,the paper aims to reveal how to ensure the understanding and acceptance of the target audience while preserving the original cultural characteristics.It adopts a case analysis method,comparing the effects of different translation strategies and proposing optimization suggestions to provide necessary thinking and reference for the international dissemination of Chinese films.
