With the increasing frequency and destructiveness of seismic activity,the seismic design of buildings has become a core topic in the field of modern architecture.In the high-intensity area with a seismic fortification intensity of 9 degrees,how to effectively improve the seismic performance of buildings and ensure the safety of people's lives and property has become an urgent problem to be solved.Based on the urban rural integration and supporting infrastructure construction project of Chuanxing New Countryside in Xichang City,this paper focuses on the application and effect of seismic isolation rubber bearings in this area.
