Astragalus membranaceus has attracted much attention as a commonly used clinical medicine for tonifying Qi.Through consulting a large number of relevant literatures,to review the research progress of molecular Pharmacognosy of Astragalus membranaceus,such as genetic diversity,biosynthesis of active ingredients,and identification of germplasm resources,to provide references for resource protection,further development and utilization of Astragalus membranaceus.
