This paper expounds the technological development and practical process of the architecture of the smart li-brary,finding that the data center has become the data core of the smart library and the database for the construction of knowledge exchange scenarios;analyzes the logical structure and practical contents of the data center including data re-search and collection,data exchange scheme design,data storage scalability control,data development support,data sys-tem construction,data governance and data asset management,and data services;points out that the data center can em-power data into services,accurately respond to user needs,and promote the intelligence of knowledge exchange scenarios in data asset management practice,expanding the application of smart libraries.
