Ulcerative colitis(UC)is a refractory and recurrent disease. In traditional Chinese medicine,it can be attributed to the category of“diarrhea”and“dysentery”.The spleen is weak as the root, and the disease is located in the large intestine. The abdomen is the place where the three yin converge. The three organs of liver, spleen and kidney are interrelated. If one organ is not adjusted,it can be beneficial. If only one organ is adjusted, the evil Qi is easy to stay and the disease is difficult to cure.Based on the idea of ascending method, this paper discusses the treatment of liver depression, spleen and kidney deficiency“diarrhea”and“dysentery”by ascending Yang and tonifying soil. The treatment is mainly divided into three points, namely, one ascending spleen Yang, restoring the ascending clearness of spleen Qi;two rise of liver wood, tonifying Qi and upraise Yang;the three warm ascending kidney Yang, restore the kidney Yang of the transpiration of the spleen and soil health in the normal state and the disease from.Compared with western medicine routine symptomatic drug treatment, traditional Chinese medicine attaches great importance to the treatment of liver, spleen and kidney three dirty function recovery has the advantages of both the specimen and the long-term use of less adverse reactions, and the treatment prospect is broad. Therefore, the idea of syndrome differentiation and clinical drug treatment are discussed.
