摘要
当前,开放大学本科生(非英语专业)学位英语考试通过率较低,严重妨碍了学生的学位获取率。低学位获取率成为开放大学高质量办学发展道路上的阻碍。英语语法考点贯穿学位英语绝大多数题型,对语法知识点掌握较差也是学生通过学位英语考试的“拦路虎”。目前,大多数开放大学对于学位英语语法考点的讲授仍采用传统式教学,已经无法满足学生通过学位英语的需求。开放大学英语教师亟须转变授课思路,调整授课方法,提升教学效果,帮助更多学生顺利通过学位英语考试。
At present,the passing rate of English language exams for degrees at the Open University(for non-English majors)is low,which seriously hinders the degree acquisition rate of students.The low degree acquisition rate has also become an obstacle on the road to the development of“high-quality education”at the Open University.Grammar is the key point in most of the questions in the exam,and poor mastery of grammar is also a“roadblock”for students to pass the exam.At present,most of the Open Universities are still teaching grammar in a traditional way,while this kind of teaching method can no longer meet the needs of students to pass the degree English exams.The English teachers at the Open Universities must change their teaching ideas,adjust their teaching methods,and improve their teaching effect to help more students pass the degree English exams successfully.
