摘要
马克思恩格斯的翻译美学思想内涵丰富,特色鲜明,其经典阐释散见于马克思主义经典著作中,不仅涉及文学翻译类型,还拓展到非文学翻译范畴。本文采用政治学、翻译学和美学等跨学科的视角,从马克思恩格斯原典入手,系统梳理其翻译美学的原则、策略和方法。其文学翻译美学思想遵循神韵再现和叙事化翻译原则以及诗译散文化和以诗译诗翻译策略,而非文学翻译美学思想则主要遵循“政治达意重于文辞优美”和风格美再现的翻译原则以及表现力重现和文辞互文互鉴的翻译策略。马克思恩格斯翻译美学思想源于其丰富的翻译实践、文艺理论和美学思想,旨在使艺术传神更好地服务于国际政治传播,达到艺术审美与政治忠实之间的高度统一。
Derivable from their major writings,Marx and Engles's thoughts on the aesthetics of translation cover both literary and non-literary translation and are inspiring with the unique perspectives and rich connotations they offer.This article looks closely into relevant excerpts from the two thinkers'major works and,within an interdisciplinary framework,identifies the general principles,strategies,and methods the two thinkers have laid down for the aesthetics of translation.Concerning the aesthetics of literary translation,they lay emphasis on the translator conveying the spiritual essence of the source text,adopting a narrativized strategy and applying the method of flexibly switching between the generic forms of poetry and prose.As for non-literary translation,their aesthetic conception attaches more importance to communicating the source text's political messages than to reproducing its artistic or stylistic features,even though faithful reproduction of its means of expression,intertextual relations and rhetorical structure must also be taken seriously.For Marx and Engels,regardless of the type of the source texts to be rendered,the translator should strive to achieve a high degree of unity between artistic and political fidelity.
