Progress of genetics in restless legs syndrome

遗传因素在不宁腿综合征的发病机制中具有重要的作用,但其致病基因还未完全阐明。文章概述过去二十年来不宁腿综合征的遗传研究情况,包括基于家系的连锁分析、大样本下的全基因组关联分析和不同人群的病例对照研究结果,结合中国的相关研究现状,分析探讨不宁腿综合征可能的致病基因和未来研究的挑战。

Genetic factor plays an important role in the pathogenesis of restless legs syndrome(RLS).However,the pathogenic gene has not been identified yet.We reviewed the genetic studies of RLS during the past 20 years,from familybased linkage studies,large sample genome-wide association studies,to case-control studies in various ethnic group cohorts in comparison with our studies in Chinese population.Through systematic data review,we aimed to reveal the high possible pathogenic gene for RLS and discuss the future challenge for genetic research in RLS.
