The 3D printing technology is summarized, aiming at the increasingly prominent contradiction between personalized customization and mass production in furniture manufacturing, the application characteristics and modes of 3D printing technology in custom furniture manufacturing are analyzed, the properties of materials required for different furniture parts and molding processes are considered, and the application principles and methods of 3D printing technology in custom furniture manufacturing are explored.
