The goal of“carbon peak and carbon neutrality”is an important development strategy in China,and it is also an important path to solve energy greenhouse gas emissions and promote sustainable social development.The configuration of urban garden plants is one of the important contents of urban garden construction.It can not only beautify the urban environment,but also improve the urban ecological environment and improve the quality of life of urban residents.Based on the relevant research background,this paper discussed the problems existing in the configuration of urban garden plants and the importance of implementing the concept of low-carbon,and analyzed the ways to realize it,such as selecting adaptable native plants and other application methods,so as to provide reference for urban construction and related industry development.
